AUSTIN, Texas – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC today announced its endorsement of State Rep. Jerry Madden in the House District 67 GOP primary that will be held March 4. TLR PAC leaders said Madden has demonstrated a vigilant commitment to a fair and honest civil justice system in Texas.
"In his long legislative career, Jerry Madden has stood up to the powerful personal injury trial lawyers who are committed to rolling back lawsuit reforms in Texas,” said TLR PAC Director Justin Unruh. “Rep. Madden has supported lawsuit reforms that are strengthening the economy of his district and the entire state, restoring faith in our courts and protecting patient access to doctors and health care throughout Texas.”
“Lawsuit reforms are making a difference in Texas, helping business, creating jobs and returning public trust to our courts,” Madden said. “I’m very proud of my record.”
First elected in 1992, Madden is running for his ninth term in the Texas House, representing parts of Plano, Richardson and Dallas County.
