As Vice Chair of the State Affairs Committee, he asked the tough questions on trial lawyer-backed bills and stood firm in his commitment to a balanced and fair civil justice system. His unique perspective as a doctor, who has seen the benefits of tort reform first hand, and his courageous leadership make us especially proud to present TLR’s Civil Justice Award to Senator Deuell.”
